I headed down to Fort Langley with my beautiful glowing mother to be friend and we went for a walk. We both share a love for unique shopping and beautiful homes. Here is one we creeped on! I love a traditional style home and the setting in their little backyard was so cute.

Fort Langley is so beautiful and the weather played a great part in that.

My Wedding Trip

I just got back from a great trip to Winnipeg for one of my best friends wedding. I'm already wanting to plan my next trip to somewhere hot, I left the 34 degree weather to come home to more rain.

Inspiring Garden

I chose 2 of the wall lamps from Ikea for above each bed. They are clean and simple! I'm going to need another table lamp and one floor lamp. Lot's of lighting for this room!

Boys Bedroom Fabric

I finally found some fabric today for the boy's bed. This has been a challenge for me since I wanted the pattern fairly simple so I can add more patterns with curtains and throw cushions. Also, I wanted to find something with more white than grey since the walls are grey and I need to lighten it up in there. Now to start sewing...I think I'll just call my Mom;)

You might remember this table from before. I have just tweeked it a bit to give it a finer finish. The hardware has been changed to something more eclectic and the top now has more of a gloss finish which makes it look more polished.

When I got off work today I spent as much time as I could outdoors with my boys, playing pirates and digging . I also squeezed into their playtime some planting for my self. I may have an obsession with white and flowers. I planted in mass clumps some Peegee hydrangeas and some Bridalveil Spirea and it rained just in time so I didn't have to do any watering:)

Wow! What a successful day at the Old School Market. I'm not going to lie I'm a little tired but had so much fun doing it and seeing all the amazing talent out there.

Now on to the projects I've been putting off.

We are working on our boys bedroom and this is all we have so far...

We have the walls painted in Metropolitan by Benjamin Moore and the baseboards are up.

Now to build two of these beds

I can't seem to find any bedding that I like so off to Joanne's Fabric next week to see if I can find something.

I picked up this adorable spring decor from DOLLARAMA ... couldn't believe it. Sorry friends if you are looking for these beautiful robin's egg blue nests at the Abbotsford store, I bought them all!

I found these bags at Dollarama for only $2!!! so I bought 5. I thought they would be the perfect bag to use at the Farmer's Market this summer.

So here's a project that I want to start in January. I have a bookcase in my living room but I'm always struggling with how to make it look put together. I'm going to only use black and white books on this shelf to help make it look uniformed.

Here's a few books that I have on my wish list (I sure hope my hubby reads my blog)to help me get started.

This white holiday decor makes my heart do little flip flops. I love, love, love these rooms. This is my inspiration for this year's decorating. My own photo's will shortly follow.. as soon as I get my camera back!!!(I'm starting to go crazy without it).

Here's my tiny splurge today... not only because it tastes so good and it's christmasy but I desperately need it to keep me awake tonight for a christmas event I'm going to. So Cheers to coffee tonight!

I know... I did not to a posting yesterday. But I think you would excuse me if you knew I was working until midnight. So I will do 2 today to make up for it. I thought this was such a sweet idea and will be trying it this weekend for my christmas decor. Also, you are all in luck because at my real job I sell these!!! Let me know if you want to make an order.

I don't actually do the work...these two do it all for me! Of course I come up with the design but these are the hardworking hands behind all my projects.
Love these boys (there's one missing but there would probably be more drool than paint).
I'm a lucky woman!

Beautiful shabby chic pedestal dining table. Usually I wouldn't rough up the edges but I really felt like this table needed it and it adds so much charm. I have a feeling this table won't last long.

Beautiful Home for My chair

I sold this chair to such a lovely lady today, she was buying it for her place in yaletown. I think it looks perfect! It always makes my day when I get to meet my clients and hear about their homes and decor styles.
