French Provincial Dresser

Here is the start to our new bedroom... clearly it's not finished. We just finished this beautiful dresser and now I just need to get creative with ideas on decorating it. I'm open for any suggestions:)
DAY 4

A Boxwood Topiary

Like I said ... I'm adding life to my home with various plants. I promise I won't go overboard! This is actually an outdoor boxwood topiary, which I'm trying out inside for a while, so let's cross our fingers and hope it survives and if not it's going outside. This is another piece that I have a cute christmas idea for. Simplicity

This piece needed help and I think it got it. It used to be dark brown and I needed to lighten up my living room a bit. I love the simplicity of the black, white and glass. I have also purchased a couple christmas pieces that will go perfectly on here. But we will have to wait till my Christmas decor is allowed to go up! Dec.1...I'm getting ready.

Kitchen Herb Garden

Since november is such a drab month I've been bringing life to my home with plants. This is a great way to brighten up your kitchen and to have fun with your cooking.. one of my other joys in life. I have planted, sage, basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano and parsley. Now let's see if I can keep them alive.

30 days of blogging.

Alright, this is a challenge to myself. I'm committing to 30 days of blogging and not just boring blogging. I'll be posting pictures of my home decor, furniture projects and some other goodies. So if I'm slacking you can blogslap me:) So, here it goes!

Here is my latest etsy purchase which I can't wait to receive. I have long hair and with my busy life style I don't always have time to style it. So I'm starting to build up a collection of cute hair accessories to help with my bad hair days.
