Beautiful shabby chic pedestal dining table. Usually I wouldn't rough up the edges but I really felt like this table needed it and it adds so much charm. I have a feeling this table won't last long. Day 18
I sold this chair to such a lovely lady today, she was buying it for her place in yaletown. I think it looks perfect! It always makes my day when I get to meet my clients and hear about their homes and decor styles. (Thanks for sharing your photo's)
Just finished this off white, cain back chair with a french blue and cream damask print seat. Yes, I've done a very similar chair before but it's been really high in demand so I'm doing more. $50 Day 17 SOLD

I have followed the trend and did the switch. I am now a brunette thanks to my amazing hairdresser. I love going to see her.. she inspires me and makes my hair look beautiful every time I see her. She gave me some amazing photo's which is now the solution to one of my bedroom decor dilema's. Posts of my new hair (as soon as I can manage to get a decent pic of myself) and her amazing photo's are coming soon!
Here is a floral arrangement that I did for one of my girlfriends shower for her beautiful son. The shower was put on by a very talented friend of my mine at www.snugmoderntot.blogspot.com/. A beautiful shower for a beautiful boy!
Here are a few pieces that I'm inspired by for our room. Although, I would love to have the headboard and chair from Restoration Hardware, I will most likely have to get creative and do them myself. So, now my hunt begins for these great pieces.
A while ago I started collecting sid dickens tiles and fell in love with them. I thought I was finished my small collection but now I'm thinking I would like a small collection of 3 in my bedroom. So here are a few more that I think are just beautiful. If you live in the abbotsford area you can get them at www.hudsonmadison.com.
I love making these chalkboards and seeing the old frames come to life with such beautiful details. These are perfect for a menu board for your kitchen, a memo board for your office or for your child's playroom. I have also seen some really cool ideas for weddings and family photo's. My idea list could just go on, so I'll stop. Price: $80 Day 9
Here's our weekend picture of the boys playing out in the snow. This is our first snow fall of the year and I'm sure it won't last so we are enjoying it while it's here. Hope your all having a great weekend! Day 8 P.S Still waiting to get my camera back.. ignore awful pictures.
O.k...Here's my new thing every friday I'm treating myself to something from Etsy!(well that's until my husband finds out anyways). I think these fingerless mittens are the perfect buy for this snowy day. Happy Friday Everyone!!!! DAY 7
I know this table looks familiar. I did this table a couple of times before to sell but I liked it so much that I had to do one for myself. I used to have a dark brown ottoman table in our living room which was convenient for storage and soft for the kids landing. When I put this piece in it just opened up the room so much and added a new look. So sorry kids your going to have a few bumps and bruises but Mommy's living room sure looks nice!
These are the night stands I just finished in a fresh white that matches our dresser. I'm looking for some lamps with a glass base and a very simple white shade. Getting excited to finish our room, although it's been a little slow as I'm trying to get my christmas shopping out of the way but the list just keeps getting bigger. Day 5.. I bet you thought I wouldn't post today:)
Here is the start to our new bedroom... clearly it's not finished. We just finished this beautiful dresser and now I just need to get creative with ideas on decorating it. I'm open for any suggestions:) DAY 4
Like I said ... I'm adding life to my home with various plants. I promise I won't go overboard! This is actually an outdoor boxwood topiary, which I'm trying out inside for a while, so let's cross our fingers and hope it survives and if not it's going outside. This is another piece that I have a cute christmas idea for. Once again if you want to order one for your home (also would look amazing on either side of a front door:) )the price is $29.99 container not included. p.s. This photo is reminding me to take those green pieces off the brick... yuck
This piece needed help and I think it got it. It used to be dark brown and I needed to lighten up my living room a bit. I love the simplicity of the black, white and glass. I have also purchased a couple christmas pieces that will go perfectly on here. But we will have to wait till my Christmas decor is allowed to go up! Dec.1...I'm getting ready. Day 2!
Since november is such a drab month I've been bringing life to my home with plants. This is a great way to brighten up your kitchen and to have fun with your cooking.. one of my other joys in life. I have planted, sage, basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano and parsley. Now let's see if I can keep them alive. Message me if you want to order any. They are $1.99 each. Container not included.
Alright, this is a challenge to myself. I'm committing to 30 days of blogging and not just boring blogging. I'll be posting pictures of my home decor, furniture projects and some other goodies. So if I'm slacking you can blogslap me:) So, here it goes! P.S I'm not off to a great start because my camera just died.
Here is my latest etsy purchase which I can't wait to receive. I have long hair and with my busy life style I don't always have time to style it. So I'm starting to build up a collection of cute hair accessories to help with my bad hair days.
I have a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful boys under the age of 2. I have a strong background in floral and interior design. I love being surrounded by beauty and try my best to create a beautiful atmosphere.
